A graduate of the Nicolae Grigorescu Academy of Art in Bucharest, Irina Biaturri has been in contact with painting from a very early age.

The swimmers” series

Irina Biatturi is inspired by seascapes.

After living in several countries, including Mexico and New Zealand, she now lives and works in Antibes.

Her oil paintings, which focus on women and sensuality, are inspired by Art Deco and Art Nouveau, but also by the compositions of the Italian Renaissance masters.

His paintings inspire peace and tranquillity, and invite the viewer to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the glamorous and enchanting ‘Roaring Twenties’ on the Côte d’Azur.

Today, Irina Biaturri‘s paintings can be found in numerous private collections, she has taken part in several prestigious art fairs and has been a finalist for numerous painting and sculpture prizes.

Since 2015, Irina Biatturi has been running painting and drawing workshops based on a sensory approach to materials and gesture. Working with adults and young people, she explores both imagination and observation in relation to movement and colour, as she does in her own pictorial research, to which she devotes most of her time.

Seeking atmosphere through light and colour, she works to varying degrees of abstraction.
